Broughton Island is situated just off the coast, off Bennett’s Beach. It is only accessible by boat and is a National Park with sheltered bays. Whale Watching
Between May and October thousands of whales head north to warmer waters. The coast around Hawks Nest is perfect to spot them. Often you will see them breaching and playing.
